Crafty kids

Today has been all rainy, and spent inside. Had a cardboardbox Snuppelure had been eying to make something of, and here is the result:)

And this little car was for lillebror:)

My first pattern for the bond :)

I came across the bond knitting machine some yrs back, and it has been in the back of my head for a long time, as I thougth it would be helpfull to knitt woolfabric that I could felt for sewing. So finally I got it a few months back. It's a simple and easy manual machine, knitts fast if you want garter stitch, anything else, you migth aswell use your normal knitting pinns:)

So this small dress for my daugther, is knitted on the machine, exept for the edges. The bottom of the skirt is knitted by hand in the end (and I used about the same time for this 6 row edge, as I did for the rest of the skirt;), and the edges on the top is crochet.

Doodle stitching

 So I came across this book while I was looking at craft blogs, and coldn't resist it.... and it has the cutest motifs:)

                                          
As I'm a horselover I chose the unicorn as my first try. I'm stiching it to the bottom of a t-shirt/blouse for my daugther. I like to buy organic cotton when possible, and the selection of fun motifes and patterns is limited so what a fun way to cuten it up:)

As u can see its still not done, but my sister just picked up my daugther to take her to se Disney on ice, and my son just fell asleep on my lap, cause he did not fall asleep for his nap today (I gave that up after 2 hours trying to get him to fall asleep...) so seems  like I migth get a nice quiet evening  today to finish this (I love it when the house gets all silent:).
