Gift for my sister.

My eldest sister, who is also Crafting, got this book from me for Christmas. The book is a simple journal for 2012, but I have made ​​the cover.

Klara

Klara is my newest dolly, and I was inspired of Dolls and daydreams Saras Dress up dolls when I made her hair. Made her a pair of removable feltet boots and a crochet scarf as it's getting colder here in Norway:)

My daugther is not really happy that Klara is looking for a new home, so she wanted a bit of a snuggle at bedtime;)

Mermaid

My little girl has gotten a little mermaid made ​​of felt. I embroidered the eyes this time and are quite satisfied with the expression it gives:). It is a pattern I made myself, and I think it turned out ok.

I enjoy making patterns myself alot, and there are so many incredibly inspiring and talented doll and toy makers out there. I have so many ideas, but too little time to put them into practice. These days I'm working on creating a separate craftsroom, and I'm really looking forward to being able to have my sewing machines ready, and started project lying ready to continue to work with. Now I use the living room or kitchen and I use a lot of time to find and clear away the things. Soon....:)

insomnia

My little boy of 16 months is a little boy with lots of speed in the legs. This applies not only daytime but also at night ... we have nursed until tonight, but for a little over a month ago he would not have the pacifier anymore (at the same time that he had an ear infection) and has used me as a pacifier since. Resulting in sleepless nights for me. We have struggled abit with ear infections so I think it has been hard to know if he's in pain, or whether this is just a bad habit ... In addition, my intention was that he should self wean as his sister did (when she was 18 months). Especially since he has milk protein and egg allergies. But now I can stand it no more, my lack of sleep is affecting the whole family.  

Now I have actually got him to sleep, which is not easy (it's now about 8.30 at nigth)! And it only took about 25 minutes of screaming..... dreading the nigth a bit because he tends to wake up after 3-4 hours, then wake up once an hour the rest of the night .... Now I hope for a quiet night and that this is the start of acieving healthier sleep patterns for the both of us ......

A happy monkey

I am a happy little felt monkey, sewn by hand. Hope to get some friends to play with here in the tree eventually:). I'm not a big guy, only 9 cm (3.5 inches) long, but I have a big heart, and the little brother here in the house has taken a liking to me.

I just love to make small feltfriends these days. Inspired by Japanese craft books I made Rabbit and her baby. To be honest I think I will keep these to myself, even though my daugther have had her turn playing with them;)
